About Moody Rainbow

Moody Rainbow is a size and gender inclusive brand dedicated to making comfortable and affordable dance wear and swim.

Back when flower crowns, rave bras, and tutus filled the scene, Moody Rainbow was created out of need for more size inclusivity in rave clothing besides the "one size fits all" dominating rave fashion at the time. Since then, Moody Rainbow has been shipped off to festivals around the world and every state in the US. Everything is made by hand in sunny Orange County, California by a one-woman team.

Thank you for getting this far. It means so much to me that you are reading this.

When I started teaching myself how to sew in 2014, I did not know how truly life changing it would be. I became deeply obsessed with Rave/Festival Fashion and all that came with that; sourcing fabric, making patterns and garments, getting feedback that people loved their new items and fit them so well. After dropping out of college for a psychology degree to pursue this fashion journey, I decided to move from Oakland, Ca to Orange County, Ca to be closer to the infamous Fashion District in LA. I was creating for Moody Rainbow while having a full time job here, another job there, and a few sewing classes when I could. The reason I want to share this is because Moody Rainbow has been the only consistent part of my young adulthood and through all of the boring day-jobs was this passion to create and make clothing that people feel amazing in. That I feel amazing in. I am always inspired by festival fashion and all of you. I hope as you're reading this if there is some outlet that you keep gravitating towards, you decide to go for it!

I cannot imagine life as I know it without Moody Rainbow. I am hopeful for the future and the growth potential. I am so happy you are supporting my dream and journey.
